Ok, so I'm new to soldering, but I ordered a 15W soldering iron with a fine tip. I want to solder my wii-key onto the wiiclip I ordered and am curious just what to do, since it's different than the tutorials I've seen that use wires. From what I've seen on the site, it looks like you're just using tiny blobs of solder to connect the points on the key to the clip. My WiiKey came with a little strip of solder (and a copper braid in case I screw up), so I'm wondering just what the heck to do.
Am I supposed to place the tip of the solder against the points I want to connect and just use the iron to melt it on?
Here's a pic of how it's supposed to look: http://www.wii-clip.com/V3_for_Wiikey.htm
