Hacking Softmii Tweaks

Ok, I really need some help here...

I'm trying to get the Softmii Tweaks app running... Every time I load it, it code dumps after a quick flash of what I'm guessing the main screen is. I see a pic of mario and some green stuff, then code dump...

I'ved tried 3 different SD cards, downloaded it from more places than I can count, and have redone the whole Softmii install 3 times now...

Is there something I'm missing, or what?

Wii - NTSC-U, 3.2U
SD cards - 1gb SanDisk, 2gb SanDisk, 1gb micro with standard SD adapter (also SanDisk)
I've gotten the Softmii pack from torrents, MegaUpload, Mediafire, Rapidshare, FileFactory...

Is there a "hack" I'm supposed to run with preloader to get Softmii Tweaks to run??

How about you try doing the softmii set up from phase 2 and add the tweaks from there.

unplug any gamecube controllers and memory cards

Try hard reseting the Wii after you run the Tweaks. I doubt its working but you never know.

after virinizing the Wii, I didn't do ANY mods... not even starfall...

unplugged my GC controller, and it worked...

Wow... the GC controller was the problem... jesus... who would have thought!!

My problem was i didnt have Anytitledeleter forwarder or whatever it is installed from preloader.

Maybe the region determines if the GC controllers make the tweaks fail? Since both people today that have had problems were from the US and I never saw anyone complaining about it in the SoftMii thread that were from Europe

Heh, another Gamecube Controller conspiracy! Those controllers have a mind of their own i tell ya.

Its to the point where I make sure to never leave them plugged in while doing anything important.
