Hacking Softmii Tweak Toy

I want to change the theme of the Wii menu and I've been reading the Softmii guide, it doesn't say if Softmii Tweak Toy can be used without using other hacks like cIOSCORPS or preloader.

I'm currently on 3.2U with Starfall only, can I use Softmii Tweak Toy with my current setup? If the custom theme somehow caused brick, can I use still boot Zelda/TP Haack with Starfall to fix it?

btw I will make a backup of the orignial menu first.

It doesn't have any software requierements, only safety recomended requirements wich is Preloader, I do think starfall can save you if you brick, but do I know about it...?? don't try to be a smart-ass, install preloader and stop thinking it is dangerous, cause preloader is just the starfall update (way up-to-date)...!!

Heh, I just try to add as little hacks as possible unless I really needed it. I will look up more about preloader though.

Yes, theres no requirements to install themes. As ether2802 says, Preloader is not required but if you are making your own themes you may get corruption errors on them, this will cause a semibrick and if you dont have Preloader youll be doomd.

Just get SoftMii Tweak Toy, a 00000042.app theme of your like and its done.

So I decided to install preloader first just in case things go wrong, then I installed the theme and eveyrthing works fine, phew
