Hacking SoftMii 3.0

I sure hope CIOS rev11 fixes the multiple USB dongles or peripherals problem. I would love to be able to play Rock Band through the USB Loader. woohoo.

...of course, this would mean that IOS37 was somehow patched to be used in the USB loader, so I'm sure I'm a ways off here.

I am excited to see what Softmii has got to offer though. I never put it on my machine when I was sitting @ 3.3U.

AHHHHHH REV11, i agree with this post, i need to have my lan adapter working at the same time as the usb loader, i hope this fixes it.

what I would love to see would be mios patched to play GC games off the USB, some say this is impossible, but with all the great coders out there, i wouldn't be surprised to see this in softmii 3.x someday, great job guys, i'm very excited

I installed cioscorp using the wads from softmii 2.1.1

Should I update when 3.0 is released, or is Softcorp the exact same thing just legal to redistribute?

We will be releasing an update tomorrow to 3.0 with the new themes and the legal corp installer. We have included normal corp for everyone for tonight.

Sorry it's been a lil rushed, i set the releae date, another week may have helped. I would advise any of you who have CIOS REV10 to upgrade to CIOS rev 11 in our pack from our friend Waninkoko.

no changelog from me about the cios rev11 - it is included for the lu64 people mainly - but you all may as well benefit from it.

I don't have the specifics - I will update tomorrow. - its 3am for me

Sorry for the mistakes - we will any errors, etc for the 3.0 update.

just got a quick question , sorry if it sounds dumb. I'm on system menu 3.2u and have everything installed from the last softmii release, and cios rev10, usb loader etc. Just wondering what should i install from this pack besides rev11, and should i update to 4.0 ? also good job with the release softmii team.

u can chose to be on 3.2 or 4.0

You can use 4.0 with SoftMii FirmWare Downgrader 1.0

or stay on 3.2 - the hacks files i have included are for 4.0 - i would advise people use the new cios at least.

LU64x with 4.0u.. along with HBC installed during 3.4u. Upgraded with official 4.0 update before (dumb thing i did). And fix is NOT working. Still getting black screen when launching PREinstaller
