so i was messing with wads and i soft bricked her, i used the Banner image size for the banner icon. so i cant get past the health screen

my only solution is to get a mod chip right ?

Which is the best and can they all use the serial port mod so i dont have to have them plugged in all the time ?

Unless you installed starfall then you need a modchip...

Which one depends what chipset you have, if you have an old wii you should be able to use a wiikey, which has DVD updates, I don't know about the others...

i was thinking of getting starfall but didnt . so i will have to mod

so does the Serial mod work with wall mod chip and will i have to have the mod chip installed at all times

Yeah, why not? With a chip, no more of your money will go to Nintendo. After all, who would want to pay £40 for 1 game?

Not all mod chips work on all Wiis. Did you get your Wii at launch?

Are you running 3.3 fw? If you aren't, it'll be fairly easy to make an auto-booting disc with wad manager... if you are, you'll need to already have the twilight hack savegame on your wii - and make an autoboot copy of zelda.

i think im running 3.3,it did an auto update when i put in a game i forgot to turn the wifi off

serial LU318925255

from the WiiTracker

Your Drive Chip is most likely GC2-D2C.

Your Drive Pins are most likely not cut.

You might want to get a D2Pro with Wii Clip if you dont know anything about soldering, which has more features than D2CKey. There are many shops that selling those chips.

No game other than Wario Land Shake It (JAP) have 3.3 update....

Anyway, for modchip - Wasabi/Wasabi V2/D2pro.

im thinking im going to get the D2Cpro just because everyone recommends it. and the clips mean i can change mod chips if some great one comes out soon... right ?

And this should allow me to use the wii semi de brick DVD

cause my wii cant get past the health screen

It's not that you will use to repair this brick.

you will use the autoboot disc of Wad manager to uninstall the WAD that cause banner brick.

BTW, dont confuse between D2CPro and D2Pro, i wont recommend the D2CPro, which is a clone of D2CKey and non soft-updatable. D2Pro is a better one which you could update by software

If D2Pro is out of budget, then Wasabi (v1 or 2) or D2Ckey are good alternatives.

Yeah, my bad...typo...

I have Wasabi, it's upgreadeble via DVD and such and for D2Pro you need D2Prog, no?

If (TC) have Twilight Hack, you can use The Legend of Zelda: TP autobootable/Wad manager that is autobootable.
