Just wondering if any one knew what might be going on with the emulators for wii? Last I read and yes I know it takes time to work bugs out and what not, but I was wondering if any one new what was going on with the N64 and PSX emulators for Wii? yes I read the recent update on the site.

Nope, but the last Wii64 update and WiiSX in general sort of came out of nowhere with no one expecting them, so you probably won't be hearing any news until its close to release. Nothing you can do but wait

I can't speak for WiiSX but Wii64 will likely never be able to run games stable enough or fast enough to be worth playing. Now if someone could crack open the emulator packed into the N64 Virtual Console games then we might get a decent 64 EMU on the Wii. I may be going out on a limb here but my guess is that most if not all interest in homebrew emulators for the Wii will be lost when the Wii U is released, well it may still be a major endeavor until the Wii U gets hacked.

well last time i heard the wii64 team have almost got it working at full speed for most games
Really? Because last time I tried it there were multiple games that wouldn't even load and there are many other games that suffer from terrible slow down, missing graphics and more. It is possible to get more stable, smoother emulation on the Wii as has been proven with the VC games, I just don't see it happening with Wii64 in it's current form.

that's the last release the next one will be better there's a thread about it in here somewhere go look for it i can't be bothered.
Of course, it very well may be coming to the next level which will provide better gameplay/compatibility but there's really no telling in truth until it's released for public use.

Just be patient, emu_kidid is busy with DML right now, and I'm not sure about the rest of the EmulateMii team, and they all have lives too.

Now, if only they opened up their private SVN to the public.. I wouldn't mind setting up an enviroment and compiling a few builds, but alas, it's private, and all we can do is wait.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
