Is it a hardware exploit or is it a Software exploit?
I would like to know if the exploit is portable to other cards.

It uses the old Cooking Coach exploit by Wintermute. A part of the game and an hacked savegame are flashed to the cart, and when Cooking Coach reads the savegame the iEvo menu gets loaded.

is there a video of this... youtube has nothing i can readily find.
thanks

EDIT: i just wanna see how it boots... ie the steps/screens

Theoretically yes. There's a thread about it somewhere here. Acekard board perhaps? A few good posts give the gist of it all.

EDIT: Sorry, it was supercard board. Here's the link: http://gbatemp.net/t277354-dsi-mode-can-be...-for-ds2-owners

Same concepts are probably applicable for other cards with other FPGA chips (some chips won't have enough space I guess, but some will) [Don't worry if this line doesn't make sense to you, it should after reading through that thread]
