It is of course a succes,it's the same as plailect and almost every would have also known how to do it wihout your guide.
Every downgrade guide will always be copying each other, because the downgrade process is just one. The difference is that Plailect was the first (I think) and is the most famous one. In my case, my guide was the first 11.2 Safehax downgrade guide.

this tutorial looks to be outdated
because with this i need to fully downgrade to 2.1, and CTRTRANSFER doesn't look to did a full downgrade
All brazillian translated guides are outdated.

how sad.......
ALL RIGHT back to menuhax + emunand ^^

So after 1 year that i have not touched my old 3ds i saw this guide https://3ds.guide/get-started-(old-3ds)
and i want to do it for the heck of hacking.
I have one question though. Which firmware guide i should follow? I have an old 3ds with gateway emunand setup, but i am confused because i was in 9.2 and i downgraded with gateway in 4.5. Should i follow the guide of 4.5 decrypt 9?
I am asking this because i think i have read somewhere that people who downgrade firmware with gateway may need to do something else, i am not sure though.
Also after the completion of the hack will i be able to use my DS Card ( DSTWO ) along with cias installed in nand or there are not compatible together as it is now with gateway ( i mean i have to run the exploit every time i have to use DSTWO).
Thanks in advance
BTW i just finish hacking my wiiU, vwii and coldboot so i need to do something if you know what i mean ;)

Kind of off topic, but I wish I had a stock 3DS to do this newfangled CFW installation method. It advanced so much since my last installation in late October 2016. Only 2 months and all this came out, unbelievable, makes me envious, and this is under surety that I wouldn't brick.

No, it's not my fault. The only person who bricked using my guide bricked because he formatted his 2.1 downgraded 2DS and ended up with a step to test 3D. The other simply couldn't complete the guide. 3 of them because an error that was never experienced before popped up.
I don't believe those 3 are remotely bricks - iirc they just have a glitched screen after browser launching arm11 - there systems still power off/on after so no 'brick'. I believe their solution [hope someone will confirm] is to treat the screen as loaded correctly - so there is a button press -select- required at that point. [I believe that has been covered by 3ds.guide for some time]

They did that. My guide also said that. Gonna try to tell them to update SafeA9LHInstaller.

From what I've observed, it seems like maybe a few too many people are jumping the gun.
Much of what made this possible rides on Ned Williamson, who so far has given us a preliminary release of soundhax and an unstable alpha release of fasthax.
I don't know as much about safehax itself though, other than it's the covered arm9 exploit for 11.x
Whilst it's definitely true that all the pieces are there to downgrade and install a9lh, it feels like not all of them are ready, such as soundhax apparently not correctly setting up the conditions to run waithax or fasthax to then run safehax. As such, I've seen people suggest you use soundhax to setup a secondary entrypoint like OoThax or steelhax.
Meanwhile the Plailect guide updated very quickly as these releases were just coming out, although it appears it's now understood that safehax needs to have something in Slot 1 to function properly. It feels like both the information and the resources were rushed to the end users too quickly.

Nothing will compare to the carelessness of that Latin American YouTuber distributing his OTP.bin though.

Yeah, i think that youtube incident will teach people to stop trusting youtube tutorials and start using 3ds.guide.

It not only feels, they aren't. All of them are alpha or beta releases. Safehax has issues not only with soundhax.

It's a bit irresponsible to make a fancily designed release page for soundhax given the circumstances. That shouldn't come until you've actually ironed out everything.
It can also just use a github like everything else does.
Plailect's guide currently links a GBATemp attachment of all things as the "latest fork of safehax+fasthax". Shouldn't a fork show it's source?

Because when I asked about something, I knew the risks and I was willing to take them. I just wanted to make sure I got the process right. Every two times I did that, it turned out to be a complete success. One to get my otp.bin after installing a9lh (https://gbatemp.net/threads/otp-a9lh-on-n3ds.448184/ and https://gbatemp.net/threads/n3ds-otp-dumping-tips.448998/) and the other to downgrade to 9.2 and uninstall a9lh (https://gbatemp.net/threads/downgrade-11-2-to-9-2.455361/).

here is the real question what exactly is the point of removing a9lh?

Downgrading to 2.1 to get OTP and a possible fix for a problem I was having. It didn't fix my problem.

didn't feel like looking through 3 different links and considering my 3ds is only newly hacked its easier to just give me the answer instead of being a smartass
the ¯\_ツ_/¯ was because there wasn't really any reason why, a9lh is the best thing available and seeing how easy it is to install on the latest fw, everyone who can really should go through https://3ds.guide/ and do it.
