Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

Snes9x 1.60 struggles on Wii U, because it's a far more accurate emulator than 1.30 or 1.51. It uses Blargg's S-SMP and Byuu's S-SMP audio core, those require a lot more CPU power.

figured, bet that the MSU-1 Audio features w/ 1.54.1/1.55+ would just bog down even an N3DS, bummer.

It's not really necessary on 3DS. Just the accurate audio would be enough IMO. But yeah, that'll be a cold day in hell.

I hear Hell Michigan freezes over alot XD, Joking aside thanks for replying in kind, i started taking intrest in atleast those bare minimum versions after being introduced to MSU-1 Audio packs for A Link to the Past. some are quite awesome!

In order for that to happen, it would absolutely require Blargg's S-SMP core to work on 3DS/N3DS as well, which I don't see anyone willing to implement.
But, at least I have Switch for portable SNES, which is pretty decent emulation

Is there any way to disable interpolation? Pixel perfect looks good but pretty small on my 2DS, and all the other options look blurry.

Tenshi no Uta - Shiroki Tsubasa no Inori (J)
Is unplayable one you patch it with English translation is there any way for you to update the core so this can be played I know it's only one game just asking
Thank you for pouring this emulator over to the 3DS and doing such a great job with the other two it'd be great if you would be able to make a standalone PlayStation 1 emulator

It would look like raggity crap without. You can see for yourself if you try the same in Retroarch and turn off bilinear interpolation. There just isn't enough available resolution on the 3DS to scale it up well.

Bubbles has been busy. So who knows if they are going to get anything new released soon. They might, they might not. If its bugging you that much. Why not get a new 3ds or 2ds. Its a step up from the old 3ds nintendo had.

i already have the new 3ds plus the snes9x 1.30 emulator doesn't run some 100% top gear 3000 games

There will be new updates soon, it's just that progress has been slow and I haven't been able to do much. I've got everything set up to compile it and I've been working on fixing some issues, but I haven't been able to do stuff like fixing Tenshi no Uta thanks to my subpar programming skills.

He was referring to this 3ds port's 1.30, not SNES9x itself.
