I cant run MPT MP3 with Sneek Menu Mod i used latest revision but no luck so i recompiled useing rev79 but it still wont work.
The only rev i have got it to work with is rev79 all above this fail to boot MP3

Can you run it booting MP3 well with old sneek menu(not modified) ? Maybe it s about di module of sneek...
I can run it from rev79 no problems.
I know its the Di but i dont know what part it is that is changed with the source for Menu Mod that causes rev79 to no longer load MP3 from MPT

Basically, from the DI the mod added the code for DVD_READ_COVER and rewrites the DVD_READ_GAMEINFO. Those two parts. plus a struct and some define. It could be easily ported to r79. But r79 have a fst problem, that makes some other games not working.

I can confirm that priiloder works well with sneek too, when i disable "remove background music" option. Just want to learn is to why does it make it freeze when it s enabled. The problem is not priiloader. it s about that option.

I guess i should look at the framebuffer code as u say.
biggrin.gif
... Which source file use the framebuffer ? i ll try to remove it. Maybe it works....

Comment out line 1956, 1981, 1999, 2017, 2032 and 2115. Basically all the lines that modify the SysFreeze address.

Moreover, you should try if the original sneek menu works.

I'm having a problem running SNEEK. It is a very odd problem indeed too.

I have installed 14 wiiware/VC titles using wad2NAND, and for some reason whenever I boot up SNEEK (bootmii) Only 4 of the 14 I installed actually show up. What am I doing wrong?

your problem isn't odd, wad2nand doesn't seems to install the WADs correctly.
And ShowMiiWads works fine under w7.
I confirm, yes ShowMiiWads runs fine on Windows7

showmiiwads seems like its frozen, just wait for it to finish. it will. again i can confirm it works fine in win7. are you sure that the wads you installed aren't DLC? they wouldn't show up in the system menu, they are access when the game looks for it.

whats been going on with sneek? i haven't been following...anything good lately?

crediar is taking a break but we got this if your interested.

A SNEEK MENU MOD by thegood (Thanks for sharing)
A small sneek mod to give a better game selection.
The menu can be used with the WiiMote, and not with GCpad as the standard SNEEK menu.

Has any one tried Riivolution with SNEEK+DI
That would mean the SD card was the NAND. Wouldn't that mean Riivolution would not probably be able to access the card?

I understand that - i'm asking anyone who decided to enable the SD when compiling the ES module for SNEEK

Hello.
i kinda need a little help here.. i've tried alot already to install sneek but i cant get too far tbh,

so far i've tried my own nand(bootmii) on normal SNEEK and i get a system files corrupt after the health screen (health screen loads in about 5 secs though).
when i try SNEEK+DI with my own nand backup i get nothing at all..
When i try SNEEK with a virgin nand (including my settings.txt) it only adds the import, meta, shared2 and tmp. but they stay empty.
again when trying SNEEK+DI with virgin nand i get nothing.

I have tried multiple bootmii made nandbackups but they all give me the system file corrupt message. so that shoulnt be the problem.
i also have tried 2 differend SD cards (Sandisk 2GB (a blue one, it has a 2 on it so i dont know if its to slow) and a Kingston 8GB)
I've tried multiple SNEEK install's too. (xFlak's installer, crediars own sneekinstaller and compiling the whole thing myself)

i'm using a component cable so video output is set to PROGRESSIVE (as it already was in my original bootmii.ini)

What more can i try?

I had pretty much the same problems, I was told some wii's just can't run sneek.
Do you get the flashing blue dvd drive lights most of the time, but the odd time just a blackscreen and nothing else?

What format tool do you use to format your sd-cards? Try Panasonic format tool: Here. This did the trick for me when using my own system nand backup.

Is this true? Afaik every Wii should be able to run sneek

I had it run once, when the rev. was in the 50's or 60's, but after that day it never worked again (lol, even the same sneek files), but I think I added wads to it so that might have been the problem then.

I'm hoping it's just a bug introduced in the newer rev.'s and it'll be sorted when cred. starts making edits again.
