I'm trying to build a nand from scratch using 3.2e....
I downloaded the necessary files with NUSD (decrypted), got the setting.txt from my nand, but how do i set it up to get it to build a working nand?
I dropped all the files in the title folder on my SD like this:
SD:/title/00000001/00000002
but it's obviously not working.

Why not get a "Dirty" 3.2E and then just use the System Menus format option?

QUOTE(gameking66 @ Apr 1 2010, 06:01 PM) First boot (when it black screened) I waited 20 minutes. I then just got SNEEK(no DI) and it boots to Health screen. Should I try dumping my nand again and using that?

I would.

I only use NANDs that were created from scratch with the minimum necessary files (3.2). The only thing I take from a NAND dump is setting.txt.

Do not manually add the files to SD.

Use ShowMiiWads to install each wad to an empty folder. It will create the folder hierarchy and add all necessary files in the correct places. Then copy setting.txt from your NAND dump to:
CODE
title/00000001/00000002/data

Im having problems getting uneek to work
is there a info guide or something
I got sneek to work (compiled it myself) but cant get uneek to work

A few questions
What is the file structure setup for uneek ?
What format should i have my usb device ?
What size should i use before formatting ?
What system menu or cios must i have installed ? (If it mattered)

hi guys, im having troubles with sneek DI, i have not been able to boot sneek di however i was able to run original sneek from the sd card just fine, i put the boot2_di.bin and rename it to boot2.bin and di.bin on the root of the sd card along with the bootmii folder with armboot.bin in it, i have the usb with the game unencrypted, and i always get a black screen.

any suggestion?

thanks for advance

You put it in the bootmii folder.

Thank you. I have put that file into my bootmii folder and extracted my nand. But am still confused as to what to do next.

Well, you need boot2.bin on the root of the SD card as well. Then you insert the card and once BootMii is launched, you's officially SNEEKin'

I do have boot2.bin on the root of the SD card . And i can update my wii via sneek. Without actualy updating my wii ?

Doh i'm such an idiot. It's boot.elf i have on the root on my sd card . Guess i'll have to search google for boot2.bin

Thanks for your help , FenrirWolf

So with the latest revision to get the correct files for SNEEK+DI support we have to run the build_boot2.cmd right? Is that supposed to make an armboot.bin? I noticed that build_boot2.cmd was having an error when trying to "MAKEBIN armboot.bin" I fixed it by putting a path environmental variable for "C:\Python26" and now it doesn't say the error and it still doesn't make armboot.bin. And of course I still only get black screen when I try SNEEK with DI

Oh, thanks. Probably still won't with DI. Do you know if any of the older revisions worked more often with DI support? I don't care if I have to switch the game manually.

Or do you know any small things that could make regular SNEEK work but not work with DI like do you have to have a usb with games on it plugged in or no?

You should be able to find it in folder mini-tree-mod. The command script does not copy it out to the main folder like other bin files.

Also am I correct that for SNEEK+DI you have to have armboot.bin in the bootmii folder and boot2_di.bin renamed to boot2.bin and di.bin on the rood of the SD?
