I ran Sneek.CMD and pointed it to the right directions, it then compiled.
I then ran build_boot2.cmd.
I copied the ARMBOOT.bin from C:\SNEEK\tmp\SNEEK\SD\bootmii to SD:\Bootmii and boot2_di.bin (renamed to boot2.bin) and DI.bin to SD:\.

i've found another portable harddrive, usb powered, that i wanna use. But as soon as i hit bootmii to load up SNEEK-DI it powers down. Any ideas how i can get this thing to work?
(btw has nothing to do with compiling SNEEK...)

imho most usb powered drives suck for anything wii related lol since they are usb powered, most of them tend to spin down as soon as they aren't being used. Does sneek have some soft of "wake up" function for usb drives? i dont know

from the "start up guide"

6. The batch will now run the compile on all modules (don't worry too much about warnings). After this an Explorer will pop up and the batch will ask about IOS70-v6687 0000000e.app and IOS60-v6174 00000001.app. Get it using NUSD and place it in the directory the Explorer shows. A how to on NUSD is found near the end of this article. Place both files in the Explorer window.

7. Return to the batch and hit ENTER to let it finish.

I put the xxe.app and xx1.app in the respective folder when it pops up and when I hit enter it on the cmd prompt it doesn't do anything. I followed the tut to a t. the xxe.app and xx1.app are encrypted and it just won't pass this point.

any ideas ?

I just got SNEEK working without DI. I simply had to use the main boot2.bin and not put the di.bin on the SD card. Now I have to fiddle around to get it working with DI.

Did you decrypt the apps by clicking decrypt in NUSD?

yes for a fact i did

EDIT or I wouldn't have gotten the app file I would have just gotten the xxe or xx1 file with no extention.

thanks for the reply

absolutely positive, I replaced the devarm I had with r24 aftter I installed devkitpro and cmd said found Python26 and all that

I used nusd 1.3b and checked decrypt, then 1 by 1 , I put them in the folder that popped open and when enter didn't work I started the process over with xxe and xx1.app already in the folder it still popped up with a window to put them in, they were there, I hit enter and it sits there like nothing is happening.

EDIT could it be that I'm on vista ???

sorry for the double post here but I got it. I don't know why but for some reason I fixed it by copying the .app files to the c:\ and not to the folder that popped open.

thanks for the replies though.

Right now I'm changing the system menu on my NAND dump to 4.2E because it seem that SNEEK+DI doesn't work on 4.2U. Has anyone got SNEEK+DI working with a US region NAND dump?

seems to me that you have to change the 4.2e to 4.2u in the source somewhere cause of crediar's source. I read it somewhere but don't know for sure where. I'll try to find it.

I just changed mine to 4.2E and it still blackscreens, so I doubt that's the problem.
