I wanna make it install the environment as required, grab latest revision, compile, and place in correct folder......

This big part of it is I was asking whether or not a decrypted set of IOS form NUSD would work rather than an actual nand dump xD.

This is even if I get time away from 3isosstudio xD.

BTW lol, careful not to go to the baseurl of the link to crediar's Discex rofl, "Threat has been detected and blocked" popped up on me =P

I haven't tested it personally, but apparently getting files from NUS works. The only exception is setting.txt (not sure if there is another way to get this other than grabbing it from a nand dump... it may just be generic text, I haven't looked into it... ). See quote below for more info (compliments of wilsoff)

what's the smallest NAND possible?
http://code.google.com/p/wii-fsck/wiki/EssentialFiles
For a SNEEK NAND you can make it even smaller. You need the following and nothing more:
1. Systemmenu, e.g. v290 is 3.2E (get from NUSD)
2. Systemmenu IOS (non-STUB) (must be the one required by 1 above, e.g. IOS30 for 3.2) (get from NUSD)
3. setting.txt (placed in SD:/title/00000001/00000002/data/setting.txt) (must match region of systemmenu) (get from a NAND dump)
NOTE: with this set up it:
WILL give you a black screen for up to five minutes before it goes to first time set up.
WILL give you a black screen for up to five minutes between the health screen and showing you the system menu.
This is for the first time only. After that it will be fast.

It only works on system menu 4.2E
Start the Wii with the GC controller in port1, run SNEEK-DI, when the system menu is ready press START on the GC-controller and the menu shows.
Then select the game you wanna play and hit START again to leave the menu.
After a few seconds the game you selected will show up in the disc channel.
You only need the GC-controller for handling the games-menu. All other selection are made with the Wii-mote.
I have 4.2E on my dump, but I only have SNEEK.
How do I compile SNEEK-DI?
In my SNEEK output folder, there are these files:
SNEEK folder
UNEEK folder
0000000e-SD
0000000e-USB
boot2_sd.bin
boot2_usb.bin
di.bin

I tried recompiling (I had the wrong 0000000e) and ow SNEEK is blackscreening when I choose to load Bootmii.

Just compile SNEEK as you normally would.
Then look for "build_boot2.cmd" and run that.
After that in the same folder you'll find the necessary files.
You don't need the earlier .bin files it created.
Be sure you use the latest source rev78.

Tried that, same result. Black screen on my SDHC card, Black screen with flashing disk light on my SD card. Both tried and tested with older versions of SNEEK.
Let me guide you through what I've done.

Used TortoiseSVN to download the SNEEK source (r78).
Run "SNEEK.cmd" and point it to the directories. (Shows a ton of warnings, I've been told this is normal)
When it asks for the .app files I add them to the directory and press enter.
It makes the SNEEK and UNEEK files.
I copy to my USB, same results.

Same for the build_boot2.cmd.

Okay, seems it works now.
I try pressing start on P1 Gamecube controller, yet nothing shows up (black screen).
Do I need to have a game on my SD first? And in what folder structure?

One thing that got me was that the bootmii.ini file got corrupted, always check that if you get a black screen...

Don't check bootmii.ini file if you get a black screen. Don't put bootmii.ini file on the SD card at all.

Only armboot.bin is required in the bootmii folder.

I only use NANDs that were created from scratch with the minimum necessary files (3.2). The only thing I take from a NAND dump is setting.txt. Let the setup run, then do an official upgrade to 4.2. Once you have a working copy save it on your computer and you can replace it on the SD card whenever you need to. I have multiple NANDs with different things installed (cIOS versions, HBC, etc..).

setting.txt is not generic text. It is encrypted and you must decrypt it in order to modify it.

Okay, I have a problem now.
I tried recompiling, and now whenever I try to laod the disk light glows for about a second, and then black screens.
Any help?

HAHAHA
DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS.
I need to learn to wait.

This is my situation, except the disc light glow appears to happen randomly.

You got it to work?

Hmm, just got kind of interested in this lately.

If I write a batch that:

Has a batch preconfiguration script to tell what device you want to run it on, and the sysmenu you want to DL (maybe some other options).
...
Copy all the files to the right places in the folders and instruct to copy to the root of your device.....

My questions are, would a full set of decrypted IOS form NUSD work rather than an actual dump?
...
I kinda wanted to make some changes in the sneek cmd to make some stuff easier, but never got past making my own MakeKeyBin in java (that accepts command line input, so you could just enter '42' in the command line instead of going to the box, click generate, ...). Didn't really turn out very well

This is how the main thing looks like, but all it does is making browsing to the paths easier (with browse... buttons) and then calls the cmd file (also modified to accept parameters) xD

The precompiled thing doesn't work at all btw, cause I still don't know what I can share and whatnot.

Also, I don't think a fully downloaded version works, I think you still need some files from a dump

It's illigal to distribute, right?
I believe so. What did you do to make it work though?

I keep getting the disc light then black screen. I've left it on for about 20 min to see if anything would happen, but nothing happens. If I take out the SD card though, the disc light flashes.

It works with previous revisions (pre-DI module)
