Not from sneek, di will disable your disc drive.
You'd have to put them on your hard drive, and use a gamecube controller to mount the game.

If I use normal SNEEK, will it work?

What is SNEEK? I mean really like what does it do.
SNEEK basically forwards your NAND to an SD card, and protects you from almost all forms of bricking.

Oh yeah, thanks for your help, Nollog.

I'm sorry i'm a retard. You lost me at NAND. Is it like the motherboard? or the system menu. Is it like Bootmii?

OP explains perfectly what SNEEK is, try starting there

i've tried with other HDDs but i still have problems that forces me to power cycle my wii before being able to run sneek, none is working on the device compatibility side right?

that's weird tho couse both disks are running fine with USB loaders.
hmm, I'm curious, try Switch2Sneek and see if it works without having to power cycle your HDD.

Let us know what the outcome is if you would please.

can you enlighten me about switch2sneek?
what's it?

What is SNEEK and How does it do what it does.
QUOTE said:
sneek is basically just a way to lie to the PPC in the wii. the wii has 2 processors ARM and PPC. games, the system menu, channels, most homebrew, and pretty much every other program that accepts user input and draws on the screen run on the PPC. when these programs want information from the wii's internal memory, internet, dvd, sd card, or pretty much anywhere else, they have to ask the program running on the ARM (an IOS usually) for it (except when the wii is in gamecube mode).

sneek runs on the ARM and it redirects where information comes from and in some cases, patches that information with false data. the end result is that the program running on the PPC asks for data from the wii's nand and it gets it from the sd card instead. if the PPC wants data from the dvd drive, sneek can give it data from a usb drive instead. when the system menu asks how much space is used for channels, sneek flat out lies about it and gives a low number so the system menu doesnt give the "system memory is full" message.

about cIOS and sneek, since IOS and sneek both run on the arm, there is a chance that they will not play nicely together. they are both trying to patch stuff and be smart, but they dont realize that each other is there and both are trying to be smart. the end result is that when sneek tries to load a cIOS, it doesnt load all of it and the parts of it that do load start doing their normal cIOS stuff and end up patching memory where sneek is and both of them end up not working right.(Thanks giantpune)

SNEEK Homebrew Knowledge

Take a look at SNEEKv2 Homebrew Compatibility
Multi-Mod Manager (MMM)
[MMM] Multi-Mod-Manager is a multi-purpose all-in-one tool for the Wii. Many useful functions are neatly integrated into a easy-to-use menu interface to enable and better support Wii home-brew. Like a handy 'Swiss knife', it helps you avoid the hassle of dealing with different separate tools but does not compromise on its features or functionality.

For 1 you don't have the .app files in the sneek folder/directory or it would be making the .tmp file for you.

also, if your wanting to compile armboot.bin, either you have python installed in the wrong directory or you need to add it to the windows system variables.

Make sure that python is installed to

C:\Python26

if it is then you need to add python to the system variables

Setting System Variables for Python in Windows
Go to your Control Panel and click on System
then find Advanced System Settings
click Environment Variables
in the bottom box find PATH
highlight and click EDIT
and be careful doing this as not to delete anything, but add
c:\Python26; to the beginning of the list.
done.

I'm not trying to be mean ok, so don't take this the wrong way but,

GO BACK AND READ THE GUIDE AGAIN
it seems you missed a few steps.
just make sure everything is in it's place and you'll get it bro.

Sorry, totally forgot about putting the armboot.bin in place and downloading the .apps.

In my defense, I did read the guide multiple times, I just missed those parts >_>.

Anyway, thanks.

Edit--Actually the reason I don't have the .apps is that the NUS Downloader link on WiiBrew is broken.

Edit2--I found it in the revision history. If anyone else needs it, it's at http://www.mediafire.com/?nqjdzmzzjmk . It's an older version, but it should work fine.

Question-- Is it possible for me to put my Wii's current NAND onto SNEEK, and use that as my NAND?
That's exactly what it's for.
Use a bottmii dump and extract it with showmiiwads or use fsdumper, which doesn't work for some people (me included).

I can't get sneek+DI to work, I got sneek to load but I was using a bad nand dump I guess because it said my menu was corrupt.

Is there something special I need to do with crediar's installer?
Maybe a guide for that would be useful.

That links to the WiiBrew page, which had the broken link, etc.

Thanks anyway.

Edit--Also... Where do I put the region.bun and font.bin? I tried putting them on the root, and it's still showing a black screen.

Question-- Is it possible for me to put my Wii's current NAND onto SNEEK, and use that as my NAND?
That's exactly what it's for.
Use a bottmii dump and extract it with showmiiwads or use fsdumper, which doesn't work for some people (me included).
Oh. Err, duh, why didn't I realize that?

from the first post and the post above,

ShowMiiWads(used to extract a Bootmii NAND.bin (backup of your Wii NAND) to be used with SNEEK)
