Ehh, not really 1:1 to Melee. Mechanics I will make as close to perfect replication as possible, but my goal isn't to just make another Melee. SSBM isn't exactly perfect, and mine won't be either, but I will make every character able to get results (if not all most.) Melee has about 13 characters good for tournaments. However, Melee has a fantastic physics engine, so I will recreate that as close as possible. But the characters? They will have the same play style (for Melee vets anyway) and will feel similar, but I will be adding things I feel are needed. Some things should be nerfed (very minor don't worry!) such as shine not having invinciblity or Falco's lasers staling, or maybe making Falcon's Falcon Dive go just a bit further and Link's nair killing a bit earlier. Some changes will be major (mostly buffs) like Roy for example. Same rule goes for PM. I don't want them to be carbon copies. As for the newcomers, I will have some fun coming up with original movesets for them! Oh yeah, also look forward to completely revamped customs. We can't achieve what I want with out animation/MSC editing quite yet but once that stuff gets figured out for 3ds(Sammi Husky is already on both) customs will be completely unique. Think of it like this: Everyone will have the "Palutena Treatment", as my friend calls it. So yeah, hope I answered any questions and gave you more to look forward to!

"Melee'd" is not how I would word it, but to answer your question we have almost 8 done so far. We're almost halfway done, so don't worry about cancellation! We have plenty of time to do at least 15 fighters! Stay tuned to that thread, I will post a trailer soon, so look for it in the coming months!
