Is there way how to patch the dt00,dt01,ls ?
the command "DTLS.exe -r <dt file(s)><ls file><patch folder>" can't patch the file and said "System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException
does anyone know other way or tools to patch ?

How do you apply the mods? I'm on 5.4.0 using SDCafiine I can only change sounds, models/moveset editing do not appear in game. Do I need to spoof my wii U and update my title? In SDCafiine's console I don't see the patch folder getting accesssed at anytime.

If you used data from the last version, yes you need to update your game. I don't think you need to spoof your console.

I use Loadiinev4 on 5.3.2. Applying the mod, I dumped smash4 disk using ddd before using Loadiine. this way can apply the mod(sounds, movie).
I think to replace the file directly on pc and install SDcard, texture/moveset hack is to be successful on this way.

Last edited by HeartBound,
do you have python 2.7? other versions won't work. Do you have a dt and ls file?
I actually HAD Python 3.4. 2.7 fixed the extraction of the update files, but both the .py & .exe versions still don't work for the original, which is obviously the real bread & butter...

The DT and LS files aren't included in patches or updates. They need to be dumped from your disc using DDD

I can't find the data>animcmd>fighter files. All that is there are enemy and item. I have extracted the files with both DTLN and sm4sh explorer. Please help

the directory structure is different from 3ds to wiiu. on wiiu, your looking for data/fighter/[fighter name]/script/animcmd

when I try to open that file, I get an error message. Also, you said "The fighter files consist of the effect, expression, gfx, and sfx .bin files as well as the motion.mtable." That file only contains the body and weapon files(Opening those doesn't work either). Thanks for your help

The body and weapon folders are the folders containing the files. Body is the character's scripts, weapons contains more folders. one for each weapon (mario's fireball, shiek's needle, etc).

Thank you for the tutorial. It seems like I just had an outdated version of smash command. However, when I downloaded the one you linked in your video, it didn't have any application that I could run, just some .cs ,.cfg, and other files like that.

I can't seem to find the most updated version (where you can copy and past?) I don't know if that one has been released but the one I have does not allow copy and past. :o

I would love the download this, but it seems the github download link is broken. Do you have a mirror?
