just curious, but which items are you speaking about "giving away items for free" ?
are you speaking of the first wooden shield? Which I managed to get destroyed on like the third block.
for once the rupee system actually works. In OoT for example, the money system was pretty much useless. You needed it in beginning of the game to buy a deku shield, that's it. You basically had full wallet all the time. in Skyward sword it feels like they did the money system correct so far. I've only played first 2 dungeons and I'm on my way to the third.

Yeah... Love the game, but hate the controls.
They DEFINITELY should've used a combination of WM+ and IR. This would've solved a LOT of headaches!

:(

Actually Im starting to think it actually uses IR a bit.
Because when I got the wiimote out of sight from the IR bar, it goes out of sync A LOT more often than if I have it in sight.

However, one boss really kills the sync for me constantly.

Its this boss:
Tencalus

Lots and lots of swearing during that fight.

How are you dying to Tentalus, you learn the fight before it even starts, I got it on my first try and started with only 5 hearts.
still a bastard of a boss gotta run around with your hand over your head like a fucking idiot :P

you can use bombs to blow them off straight away but you'll need a lot of bombs and timing :creep:

By the way. The Motion+ uses the censor to tell which direction your TV is in. Play without a sensor bar, too far from yours, with too much interference, under a blanket, pointing the wrong way, etc, and you're screwed. It'll desync in minutes.

It's not hard.

I think you should read what I wrote again. Nowhere did I say I died. I said it kills the sync of the wiimote, making targeting with the bow a nightmare.

Only issues I have had with the controls are the pointer needing to be re-centred and it slashing when I don't want it to on occasion. Pretty sure that could have been sorted with some sensitivity settings though.

It moaning about the wiimote battery is very annoying though. Little red flashing battery when it goes to one bar and constant moaning from fi about it being low. Plenty of life left at 1 bar, no need for it to keep telling me.
