Skyrim latest update wont activate anniversary edition

So i downloaded it but the stuff that supose to be new is not there like the new homes, is there a way i need to activate it? or is it and online only activation? Dlc is nor provided in dowbload pages

If you don't have the file required for the anniversary version obviously it ain't going to work

you mean a dlc nsp? cuz they aint giving onw in the pages, i have the base game and the uodate thta prompts le to buy it frol the eshop, so i guess ill wait for that nsp dlc

Yea the upgrade retail for 19.99, so if the person was paying , a free update won't work, as you need an dlc unlocker

well that sux, the only thing i did by updating was to block the Mods wich i hardly use anyway, but well, waiting game it is then

Everything is working,after playing for a bit with mi old save i see the fishimg rod,survival mod and more.You need some requisits for quests.

wait im confuse, aremt those things for the anniversqry edition? are some stuff free with thw updates?

From what I understand when you install the update you unlock the creations that were free even with Skyrim special edition (except the farm that indicates how installed but was paid as far as I know) for the rest I think you will need a DLC unlocker

the problem is when i install the unlocker, all of the content reveal including the free content from 7 GB update. but it can't be applied in the game. when I install just the update without the unlocker the free content is available like fishing, survival etc. the survival is a bit buggy tough

if it works anything like the pc version of anniversary does, nothing gets downloaded through the eshop itself, and it's skyrim itself that downloads the rest of the content from the creation club servers
or i'm mistaken and they made it so that all of the content is downloaded through the normal dlc means, idk i refuse to buy it since i'm getting a steam deck on monday and already have anniversary on steam

all of the content is in the update and the update has an activation file for the 4 free mods and the addon is just another activation file with the rest of the mods in it

Hey, I just wanted to play Skyrim Anniversary and unfortunately I can not use the dlcs. If I look in the start menu there are all new dlcs listed but non of them seem to be activated.

What am I missing?
Should I update my switch to latest version?

I still haven't figured it out how to play the new DCLs.
Can someone please help?

I have installed Anniversary Upgrade DLC, but it sill isn't activated for some kind of reason.
If I navigate in the menu of Skyrim to "System">"installed content" everything from the anniversary DLC is listed.
But if I want to buy for example the new backpack which should be ready to buy from a dealer, there is no new item.

If you see Survival Mode at all, then you HAVE the DLC installed correctly.

Some of the homes you cannot access until you reach a specific level.

One easy way to check is to use the Dawnstar chest trick. Go see what items are in it. If there is even a single backpack or piece of Nordic jewelry, you're good to go. Same with all of the new alchemy ingredients.

I thought mine wasn't working, either, until I went to check on the new items. It won't directly SHOW you that you have everything installed, and obviously you can't download anything using CFW.

That's how I solved it, though.
