Using a Kingston 8 GB from modchipcentral. It can load the first game and run perfectly fine, however, pressing the button on the back causes the LED light to flash blue indefinitely and the game will not switch.

Is this a problem with the SD card? or (hopefully not) the Sky3DS?

dealing with the same thing except its the 7th game thats usually doesn't work and when I try circling back to the 1st game it blinks nonstop. Email sky3ds and they said it might be the microsd. Ordered a sandisk and waiting to try ut out.

How have you gotten the light to stop blinking? Mine keeps blinking and it's a huge pain in the ass.

when it would blink that way I would try 3 things.

1)I read online that buy going to the settings and backing out to the homescreen would refresh the cart. I've done this before and it works but not all the time.
2.Remove the cart completely and remove the micro sd/ insert the cart again but with the micro sd. it will blink for a few seconds and stop completely. Reinsert the card with the cart out of the 3ds and reinsert it into the 3ds and it should take you the 1st game on the list.

Now my issue seems to be a fake microsd but whats strange is when I tried adding 8 smaller games (mb not gbs) i would get ht esame result.

for example: original list of games was"
1)persona 1 2gb
2)super smash 2gb
3)shin megami iv 2gb
4)Project x zone 570mb
5)spirited camera 600mb (give or take )

which adds to close there where I hit my limit. the smaller games around on average about 600mb. like nintendogs. nes remix. lego batman 3...sseveral people are having this same issue and some say its the template while others say microsd. but its strange that we're the only ones with the slot issue as of now.

Thanks i'll defintely try some of these methods! Also, when you connect your micro sd to your pc, how much space does windows say you have left? I have 2 roms on my supposed "8 GB" card and windows is telling me I only have 500 kb left...

Edit: Both those methods didn't work for me :( I don't know why the hell they would make it blink forever.

Yup, I have a fake card. Never buying micro sd cards from modchipcentral ever again. The card only has enough space for a game like Super Mario 3D land. Anything bigger and nothing pops up on the screen. Lemme know how your sandisk goes.

FIXED IT :D

It was the SD card. I'm now using an older card I found in my smartphone and it switches games no problem.

I made a thread that is asking people to let us know what microSD cards work or do not work in the Sky3DS. I had an ADATA 128Gb card that would only play the first game I installed on the microSD card. No matter what I did it would not recognize any other games on the card. Reformatting, formatting, nothing would help. So I used a smaller Sandisk 8Gb card that allows the Sky3DS to work properly. I was so happy cause I thought I had wasted a bunch of money.
Here is the link to the thread I started in hopes people will inform the rest of us of the microSD cards that work properly with the Sky3ds or even the ones that do not work properly so we can stay away from them.

Our micro sd cards are not fake. We order genuine cards from Kingston. You can check the serial number.
We sell r4 cards, gateway, DSTwo, sky3ds and the kingston we found to work best with these DS cards.
We do how ever get the occasional bad card, in which case you can return to us for an exchange.
thank you
