Hacking Sky3ds or stick with Gateway ?

The limit is just one card with diskwriter..

im switching cards and testing.. i can play more than 31 games.. with more sd cards.

Noted. What do you think about your experience with Sky3DS? It bother my mind for few weeks which one is
better for me GW or Sky3ds eventhough I already ordered Sky3ds. I think it will arrive on 1 - 2 weeks.

Oh and I will only play 10 games at the times MAX. I think scrolling through 31 games is kinda painful, and I am
sure I cannot remembering the order.

if you are only going to use it for 10 games MAX then i will not be disappointed. I think I am going to tone down the games i have on my card, but overall I am very impressed. It does exactly what its supposed to do. Not a single problem so far.

Ouch another limit from Sky3ds, makes me wonder whether my decision to buy one is right or not

Its just a bug on the Diskwritter. The confirmed will get fixed in the next update.

i say gateway3ds is the best of the best 3ds card right now

but the only down side to it you need to be patience wait in till they release the support for firmware versions 7.0 ~ 9.2 and is cheaper CIA region free

on the other side the sky3ds is not a bad card after all

Yup, the only reason I bought it because I need that for this Xmas holiday and my FW 9.2.
The only problem I have I miscalculated it, because I bought it from another reseller that
offer me cheaper price but he doesn't have Sky3ds ready stock. So I need to wait until
1 -2 weeks. and hopefully the Xmas doesn't disturb the delivery.

I'm having problems getting that one to work. I have cartridge ID: C2 FE 00 90 and Nand save - is that right?

Does gateway lag at all if you have a lot of roms on the microsd card in the red/white card

i have a 16gb class 4 and a 4 gb nor even branded dunno the class micro SD card.
Both work flawless on GW.

If you put mine beside an original cart it will probable load a couple o seconds later, but thats all. Gameplay never lags or freezes.

What keeps me on GW is one simple thing: It runs pretty much every piece of software made for 3DS no matter what it is. period.

Gateway is easily more feature-complete, but if you foolishly updated to 9.3 or 9.4 your only option for the foreseeable future is Sky3DS. This is really the most simplistic flowchart ever.

I only updated because I got a game for free. And that before I know about a 3ds flash card.

With the Sky3DS It's actually quite annoying to press the button repeatedly if you have a large number of games on there. I would just wait as really there isn't any benefit if you already have a gateway that works.

Also something to keep in mind is that the new 9.X exploit looks the most hassle free judging from the video. I'm hoping it's as simple as putting in the red card to enter gateway mode.

I use 16 Go Micro SD Card with 10 games per Micro SD, switch is not long with 10 games ! (with version 2 blue button)
Homebrew not work, no prob i don't use.
Eshop game not work... It's bad, but work on N3DS !

I'm not a SKY3DS website, just user statisfed... Game work, online work... fine !

well I just bought sky (gateway owner right now) b/c I need New 3ds support. Tired of waiting. Holding onto gateway until it's updated, using sky until then and if gateway doesn't move within a month, will prob sell it b/c both is crazy. Not bad to use sky though then sell it and this way I don't feel bummed out when getting my new 3ds this friday

Funny how dependent on GW has Sky3DS been becoming as of late. First it required GW's browser exploit for running out of region games, and now Sky3DS users need the help of GW's cart dumping feature to get private headers so that they don't get banned playing online on their Sky3DS

Then again, there isn't any 3DS flashcart that isn't dependent on GW. Even MT has been doing nothing except copying GW's features and advancements as of late, always lagging behind it. That goes to show you how awesome GW is
