Hacking sky3ds or gateway?

assuming i'm on 11.2, which would you recommend and why?

I prefer sky3ds+. I was planning to buy one,but i got my console CFW,so it's not really good (unless i had a unCFW'd console and i was lazy to CFW it)

If you are on 11.3( or higher) then your SOL and can ONLY go to Sky3ds

Gateway has a lot of features like CFW, hombrew, cheat support etc


So Gateway3DS is my vote.

i would probably choose sky3ds also, but it's a ton of money for something i can do with freeshop

it does work on emunand 11.3/4 so ya it will not work if your all ready have the fw 11.4

11.4 and up then sky3ds

You should install a9lh instead.It has way better functions,allows the freeshop since you can choose any functional cfw to run on it and its free.

If givin a choice however and you are on 11.4 which can't ctr transfer to 2.1 with safehax,I would go with the sky3ds if you really need piracy.Otherwise a9lh should be your main priority if you are on 11.3 or lower.

Sky3ds was good back when I first modded a few yrs ago as it allowed you cubic ninja entrypoint (or any exploitable game for that matter) since most copies of cn were selling for a lot of money. Things have changed these days with all the entrypoints that have come about since.

most will recommend neither but i personally use gateway for the better cheat system. cheats are mainly the reason anyone would buy a gateway anymore.

I picked up a NEW 3DS XL and it's on the newest firmware.... 11.4.0. 37U....my Sky3ds+ works on it.... wishing I could do a custom firmware on it

I don't never will and refuse to pay what they are asking for the card I'll stick with cfw its way better.
