Hacking Sky3DS help!

Nope, Sky3DS cards are unupdateable. If they DO work out how to get past it, everyone's going to have to buy a new Sky. Your current Sky3DS cards are never going to be able to play the new AP games. (Unless Sky can work it out using HANS - some people have said this is impossible, though they haven't given reasons)

sky3ds is like a cartridge emulator. It done all hacks on the card itself. no update... no changing...
u may never play some of new games with sky3ds
but it's good thing that you still can play lots old games!!!

I didn't necessarily mean update in a downloadable firmware way, I meant an updated stock kind of way lol. I'm gonna wait a little bit before getting a Sky3DS, just in case this anti-piracy measure can be worked around beforehand.

Oh, that actually sounds awesome. I haven't heard of it so plainly put before. I might try it out then. Just gotta find an affordable N3DS below the latest firmware lol

At this time (and for the foreseeable future) the N3DS is stuck at 9.5 for EmuNAND. Something about Nintendo introducing a new encryption method/seed or something for the N3DS in 9.6 that prevents us from updating EmuNAND to or past it.

Shit.. That's really bothersome.. Eh, I can't even find a N3DS that a scalper doesn't already have it's hands on.
