Hacking Sky3ds and different region roms

Hi all. I've got a new sky3ds card (orange button) and I've managed to get usa region roms playing if I launch them via the Hans app on the HBL but I have a strange problem with them on the card as in they dont show up when I cycle through them.

So for example I can have 3 roms on it. 1st 2 which are eur show fine when pressing the orange button but if the 3rd one or whatever is a different region no icon appears on the top screen but if I launch hans it's there visible for me to launch.

This means that if I had say 10 USA roms on the card I'd have to know in what order they are in so I could launch the right one via Hans.

I simply just drag and dropped them onto the card. Should I be doing It some other way or is it just simply the fact different region games will show as blank on my UK 3ds?

Because the 3DS Is region locked it wont disply them on the homescreen, but HBL can see these with the regionfree launcher

Ahh ok so it's not really a biggie I'll just make sure I don't have a stupid amount of different region roms on there so I get mixed up with my clicks lol.

Whilst I'm asking stuff I noticed a couple of games wouldn't go on due to file size (being over 4gb) I seem to recall there being a rom trimmer in the DS days. Is that the same with the 3ds. If so what's the best program to use?

One more thing I'd forgotten about is private headers. It's impossible for me to create one with my firmware etc so are their any services out there that provide them? I notice a certain popular site has a section with people selling them. I dont mind paying if that's what the setup is.

I assume I would need seperate private headers for US and EU roms?

Yes different for EU and US Roms, use No Ban No Sky app to use them

Maybe a stupid question. Can I run import out of region game carts via HBL?

i play out of region roms with sky3ds+ by this method: .
i rename the roms to put them near cubic ninja so it's not a pain to cycle them.

Yes I do that already mate. What I meant was will the HBL method work with out of region physical carts? I'm toying with the idea of importing the new fire emblem.

You can use one private header for all your games. The game you take the header from doesn't even need to have online, it can be a header from any crappy shovelware game.

Not sure about the USA version but the japan one, there are two normal editions that let you play the storyline of each of the two kingdoms and a special edition which contains both side and an additional third route. It is possible to buy the other kingdom route as dlc, but not sure about the third route.

You can use hans with homebrew launcher to play the translated version.
