Gaming Single Card Play R4??

I tried using a Mario Kart DS rom to do single card play with my cousins' ds, and it went to the nintendo screen on hers, and then froze. My friend who has a real copy it works fine. Is there a fix for this?

Hmm...what kind of R4 do you use? If it's an Original, REAL R4, then just use V 1.18 firmware. I remembered playing Mario Kart DS on my R4 with V 1.18 firmware and Single Card works fine. Or you can use YSMenu with your R4.

If it's not an Original, Real R4, then you have to see if you can use YSMenu with it.

i have an r4 clone and i download play with other just fine?
Make sure the person hosting it is using the retail cart, and the Roms to join, or do the opposite, the rom host and the retail join.
