So basically I’m looking to play PSX games on my switch, maybe PS2 in future but for now only bothered about PlayStation games. My question is, can anyone provide simple steps to make this happen?

I don’t want to chip/physically with my hardware in any way and have seen that Duckstation is perhaps the best method of achieving this by just running an app that does what I need.

The thing is, I’ve downloaded it and saved the folder in my switch SD card main directory, then saved the bios in another folder, and a few games in another folder. Having then booted the switch up, there’s no sign of Duckstation.

I’ve not managed to find many /any switch Duckstation guides, aside from a couple of foreign YouTube videos which still show what to do kind of, but it feels like I need to be doing something to enable other apps to work first? I’m a bit stuck and would appreciate knowing where to start, or even a step by step guide to getting it to work.

Ah nice one! That’s literally what I was looking for. Somehow had missed the initial steps to make it emulate-able when looking around.
It’s had nothing done to it previously and is a stock default switch, so I’ll follow that guide and hopefully end up with it able to run Duckstation. Much appreciated!
