I have one more question. Should I just wait for KTM which is supposed to release tomorrow?

OK I will wait. The KTM method will grant full CPU and kernel access for GBA games and SNES emulators at full speed and stuff, right? Just like an n3ds that was always on 9.0?
Does anyone know what method will be needed to run it (unless it's just a homebrew launcher thing) and if it supports 10.3?

Just to let you know that my (9.5 EU) new 3ds got a "problem occurred" "black screen of death" after the 3 or 4 cia :/ Luckily it could boot normally (thanks to steive changes i guess) and i'm now updating to 10.3 to prevent any problem. Will try again from 10.3 EU.

Hold L R UP A then press power button. Youll be taken to the update screen and start fresh from there. Its possible that you only just got a softbrick.

I tried it but I can't get into recovery mode. What am I doing wrong?

Have you watched the tutorial video in the OP? The guy talks about a problem he has when starting the SysUpdater. Is it the same problem? If it is you'll have to keep trying until it works, just like he says.

Never noticed. Do you have a new or old 3DS? Have you downgraded?

I don't see them on the verison I'm using but when I press y I get the error everyone eles gets, and when I use the other sysupdater I get stuck on #5 & #7

I change my answer. Yes, 0.4.2b is the latest one RELEASED so far. I think a safer method called KTM is coming out tomorrow.

I have an Old 3DS. It worked perfectly for me with Menuhax. Try using another hax and/or keep trying to downgrade. It's unstable on the New 3DS and won't always work. Alternatively, you can wait until tomorrow for KTM's release. It's supposedly a better method.

Yes, it's possible. Not sure about getting Ironhax back but you could use it to install menuhax which should stay after the downgrade.
