The method used by Sparks seems to work:
When I tested launching sysUpdater from HomeMenuHax, it freezes on a black screen without ever displaying any text on either screen, following Sparks' method and substituting the boot.3dsx on the SD root with the sysUpdater .3dsx fixed the issue and launched sysUpdated almost instantly (so fast I didn't even see the 8 steps part).
Does anyone knows how to solve ''that'' screen on sysupdater start

o3ds 10.3, homehax.
edit: Now i got to the #7, that's some progress.
I'm trying to use the sysupdater you linked but it freezes on step 7. Did this happen to you too? Should I keep trying?
I tried using Julian's sysUpdater, 4 times out of 5 it boots to black screens, the only one time it worked it didn't seem to display the 8 steps at the beginning and went straight to the downgrade menu...Use Julian's sysupdater.
Thanks buddy, I'll fight the power.yes. Every version has this prollem. You need multiple tries to access properly sysupdater. Sometimes it can work at first try sometimes at 100th time. For me usually it is 10-15 times.

HomeMenuHax, IronHax, and NinjHax. Out of the people who have successfully launched sysUpdater on a N3DS, has anyone experienced the downgrade progress being interrupted/bricking halfway? (provided the update .cia files are correct and not from the O3DS)Yeah, it doesn't show the steps. I used it with no problems. Which entrypoint are you using?
Yes, go right ahead. So my first try ended in:
Failed to get CIA file info
it's safe to manually reboot here and try again right?
Yes, go right ahead.
