Mine is same but old instead of new.
Downgrading with no game card inserted, as stupid as it may seem.

If it helps I was able to downgrade using the original downgrader (before the stability improvements by Steveice10) on my o3ds 10.3.

So guys, I got a few PMs asking me to make a video tutorial of this or asking if I knew what was going on with the scene. Just wanted to say that yes I know what's going on and I've been following this thread. However, I don't own a 3DS that's above 9.2 (my o3DS is 4.2 and my n3DS is 9.0) so I can't make a video guide unless I update one of them to 10.3 and then downgrade it again, which just seems silly to me. The written instructions on the other hand look very straightforward. If I ever get access to an updated device, I'll perform the downgrade on video for people.

That said, for people who just performed the downgrade and don't know what to do now, here's how you can launch RxTools from a coldboot so you can essentially boot right into your custom firmware and be able to do all the crazy things that you want!

I have a n3ds XL on 10.3, I'have tried several exploit (OOT, Ninjhax, HomemenuHax, BrowserHax) but i always get stuck at step #5, #7 or #8 (if i'm lucky) when loading sysUpdater. Am i missing something here? i've also tried taking of battery for a while but still the same.

See that gets confusing. I have o3ds 10.3, what the difference??

If someone with this error is willing, could you format your 3ds. I understand no one would want to do this lol but maybe.

To recovery mode!

I didn't even think of recovery mode! I tried that and it worked just fine. Now I need to get OoTHax working on this newly updated console :/. Thanks everybody! Especially @WeedZ1985 !

I assumed it did, it updated the console. I didn't check after I got it working again.

I turned Wifi off as soon as it let me, nothing changed.
Returning to 10.3 now..

I was able to downgrade with:

• US o3DS 10.3 using Menuhax with no game cart inserted [7-9 tries]
• JAP n3DS 10.3 using Menuhax (but to 9.1) with Pokemon Alpha Sapphire inserted [10-12 tries]

Both using sysUpdater 0.4.2b.
