Should You charge a DSi before playing?

    All of Nintendo's handheld products come with instructions to fully charge the system before playing it for the first time.

    With any electronic device, assuming it isn't yet charged, it is best to fully charge it before powering it on. Someone else could probably do a better job explaining, but it is better for the battery life to only charge it when it is as low on battery power as possible, and, when it is being charged, charging it fully.

    The battery will just deplete faster I assume.
