Hacking Should I ?

ok well my first post here at gbatemp and uhhh
ok well my ds lite's hinge is cracked and the hinge is loose so the question is should I trade it in for a new ds lite at eb games and more importantly do you think they would let me?

EDIT: oh and if i do trade in i have to give my ds lite plus two games and $50 and also one of the ds games im giving i got for free

If you believe you think the hinge is going to break soon and you are happy to trade in 2 games and $50, do it.. If not, just be a bit more gentle with it... But it will probably eventually break anyway

Gamestop is the biggest rip off ever. Just get a new shell off of DX for like 20$.

If you do get a new shell, though.
Make sure that you know how to disassemble and assemble your lite.
Or get someone to do it for you.

I actually know a store here that can repair it for 10 bucks.
