Hacking Should i use this???

Hi everybody!

Just recently, i wanted to make some custom wii channels with WADder. so i did everything it told me, but always, the outcome would be totally random! like one time it would not load a file or it would fail to save one. so i got through by only editing one thing to save and i used that WAD. and before this, i installed bootmii as an ios because it cant be installed as boot2. I dumped my nand twice. once on each of my SD cards. now, one of my SD cards has the original nand before i made the channel, and the other SD card has my current nand. so i loaded the WAD into my wii and i foolishly didn't pay attention to the front of the channel which had 1 image correct. the other was a tetris logo! so right when i clicked on it, it said my system files are corrupt. I then freaked out and unplugged my wii and plugged it back in. i turned it on and guess what? i was surprised that nothing was messed up. so with the time i had, i quickly went to the data management and deleted the channel. so then i thought nothing was messed up until i wanted to play brawl. my disk channel wasn't working! it said i needed an update. i have menu 4.2U so its current. it does that with all of my games!!!

So, i have 3 questions.

Should i use my old nand backup?
Is it worth it for the disc channel?
Why is WADder's outcome so random?

WADder is WAAAAAY outdated. Use CustomizeMii.

i cant find a good tutorial for either programs!!!

update and re-hack
doing a nand restore isn't recommended with bootmii as ios from what i get
and why duidn't you boot in priiloader and hbc and then removed the wad with wadmanager again ?
never never just un-plug you're wii
you should be happy it's just the disc channel that got screwed up

2. get priiloader & move your disk channel somewhere invisible
3. place neogamma/gecko os channel at the original disk channel position (& get some f***ing cios)

CustomizeMii is no more adavanced than WADder really, it just has a few extra options you can ignore. If I get time later, I'll write you a little tutorial on using CustomizeMii.

I do have cios.
if i didnt, i wouldnt be able to play smg2 in neogamma.
also, i was trying to make a wad of super mario war. i have no idea what starting wad to use with customizemii or the pictures. i just started to make wads.

I made a tut about it if you need it (link)

About base wads/images, you choose the base wad that has the animation you want and create the images yourself. Then you can replace the images from the base wad with your self made ones.
Like that you'll end with a channel that has the same animations as the base wad, but with different images.

but i stil need help with my disc channel. what should i do with it?
BTW i just got priiloader!!

can i get like an alternate disc channel, or is there channels that load specific games?
if not, can i delete the disc channel?

And sorry for the triple post, but the disc channel only plays GC games.
the wii games say they need to update. and all my wii games do!

Use PriiLoader to Block Updates from the Disc Channel.
