umm, i recently bought the M3 real flash cart for my ds lite and i was wondering since my friend gave me the firmware (the box came with no disk) should i upgrade to M3 sakura firmware? and is it better then the older firmware for m3 real? ALso, where can i download it so all i have to do is extract and copy the system file into my mirco sd card?

Thanks alot for your help =D

yeah i'm thinking of doing the same thing. However, I don't know what to do with my old SYSTEM file. Should I just dump it and replace it with the new M3 Sakura SYSTEM file or do I have to do some other formatting things besides just deleting?

Check the Sakura FAQ for info on duel booting. I'm still on touchpod. I dunno why! I still update my games, but I feel like sakura would take up a lot of space. I also run a lot of homebrew and some coding stuff so touchpod's homebrew capability is what i'm interested in.

Its MUCH better, much more responsive, much better looking, much more compatability....

The only problem is there are a few pointer cheats which do not work.

Is that really true, regarding the compatibility for games?

The M3-team has officially said they won't support the original firmware anymore?
There seems to be some bugs for GBA-roms running on Sakura though, regarding savefiles.
