Hacking Should I upgrade to 1.4?

I just got a DSi with the version 1.2E firmware, and I have a R4i Gold (1.4 compatible) cart that's working. Unless you guys can fill me in on something, the only reason I can see to upgrade is so that I can download from the online shop, which I wouldn't mind doing, but I'd hate to cause myself problems. Don't fix what's not broken, you know. So, should I upgrade or should I just leave well enough alone? Thanks!

Yes update to 1.4 so you can use the shop channel man. You are missing out a little. They let you download the web browser for free if you have the shop channel. Also you can use the points that came with your console if it did. Mine came with 1000.

Thanks guys! I did the update (1.4E) and everything seems fine. Unfortunately, we don't seem to get any free points in Europe.

I would upgrade mine and use my 1000 points but I don't want to see Danny Phantom.
