Hacking Should i buy Gateway 3DS?

Hey guys

So I'm considering buying GW 3DS (my 3DS is a 9.2 one) and I have few questions

-I heard that GW will soon have 9.x support so does that mean i have to wait to buy my flashcard or i can buy one now?

-if I buy GW, that means I'm gonna be stuck with a 9.2 3DS? (Since obviously I don't wanna brick it) Or is there a homebrew app that can download a newer firmware like the Wii without bricking?

-will I still be able to play online?

Dunno if it will work with newer 3DS OS. GW has Nand Backup feature and I'm hoping for GW Menu in 9.x.

Dunno how the online will work with roms but for retail cartridges and eshop games yes you'll be able to play online.

And sorry if It sounds a bit noobish, but by Nand Backup you mean that the Nand backup can restore your 3DS to a non exploited one?
