I am going to add another "no" and explain why.
It actually still has several bugs that the Gateway Team has still yet to fix (despite the months of delays.) The Gateway team has basically repeated the same pattern of delayed update to this cart as they did their previous cart. The biggest bug being that NDS-Mode doesn't work with Luma3DS, nor any other CFW.
I honestly suggest saving your money by buying and R4i Gold Plus. You get both an NTRBoot cart and a working DS-Mode cart for your CFW.

Nah, OP should get an r4i Gold 3DS RTS. It's reflashable, so you can flash anything to it, especially GodMode9. Then you can unbrick your device without a hardmod. With a Plus you're stuck with SafeB9SInstaller which is now technically obsolete.

I was actually gonna suggest that, but it appears nds-card only carries the Plus.
Personally I use the cheap 9$ R4i Gold Pro with GM9 flashed to it for my go-to cart.

you can also look into seedminer, it's even cheaper than an r4i gold for installing cfw

Seedminer will cost you $2 as apposed to $20 for the r4i gold, as apposed to $70 for a Stargate. I'd even argue Stargate is significantly worse than an r4i gold on terms of features, due to nds room loading not working once cfw is installed. As I've said before, I believe it's a scam meant to trick people looking to just pirate games.

I had received a review copy of the cartridge, first was DOA, Second had so many flaws in the software, and the Development/Support team are toxic.
By the Time I had one working to an extent, it was 3 months of communication back and forth almost daily with them accusing me of not doing it right... Im a Certified Computer Tech..


Again Highly recommend to stay away from their toxic product & service

Wondering that as well. Maybe she's thinking of fastboot3DS, which seems neat but it's just an alternative bootloader, it doesn't do anything you can't do with B9S + GodMode9.
Also doesn't the R4i Gold Plus just load boot.firm anyway, which could be whatever you want. Not like it's limited to just SafeB9SInstaller. Or is it?

OFI (OpenFirmInstaller) is the successor to SafeB9SInstaller, also made by d0k3. Yes, the Guide says to use SafeB9SInstaller, hopefully that'll get updated. OFI is better, since it supports (okay, plans to support, only supports b9s & fb3DS ATM) all sighax bootloaders. The setup is essentially the same, except that input files go in SD:/ofi/

I thought it was permanently flashed with SafeB9SInstaller?
