Does anyone know how I can prevent/cure "Rage" status ailment ?
I keep getting killed by the 4th big boss, even when spamming the boss's weakness I get killed in 2-3 hits.

I'm pretty big on SMT; it's of my favorite RPG series. I gave the Japanese version of Strange Journey a shot on emulator. Never made it far mainly because it's in Japanese and I didn't know the hell I was doing (Not an import gamer). I want to give it a try in English, but my DS is broken. I need a new one. Like now. DS emulation sucks.

Use the newest Desmume from here:

http://www.emucr.com/2010/04/desmume-svn-r3508.html

If the emulation still sucks it's not the emulation that sucks but your computer that sucks.

The graphic is fucked up (can't read menu text), no matter how good your computer is.

Am I the only person who gets freezes on the third zone? M3i zero with newest sakurafw update.

Mine freezes once on the third zone, and I'm using an Ak2i with latest AKAIO v1.6 RC2.

@TheTester: What's on the CD?

No, I did not try no$gba. It has an absolutely crappy GUI.

Did anybody see this awful review by Gamespot ..... and the game is so good I don,t understand
wtf.gif

Even though i disagree and would have rated it abit higher (probably 8) this review does have some valid points!

The repetitive Dungeon Crawling i agree with, all of the areas are pretty much the same thing with a new lick of paint!

It basically comes down to this

1) go through the dungeon /search for forma / storyline trigger
2) catch new demons
3) fight battles / level up
3) fuse new demons
5) fight end boss of dungeon
6) head to new dungeon
7) repeat from step 1

Strange Journey SECRET DEMON PASSWORDS! -
Consider yourself a hardcore gamer?
Prove it by using the below Demon Passwords to unlock
some of the useful, otherwise inaccessible demons locked away in SJ:

- "Left hand freeze
Right hand shock"
- "Prophecy of wind"
- "Thick red skin"
- "Soothing ice"

I can't test those by now. So i hope someone can confirm they're working.

Yeah they work! There nothing really useful tho there low level demons you get in the first dungeon with immunitys and such like a mothman (Prophecy of Wind) and a oni brute that is imunne to fire water and wind (thick red skin)! But there only about level 5-8!

I can't find the final boss in Bootes Sector...Y'know in the palace. I've been walking around for hours but still nothing.

If you have activated the lift go to the 7th floor (not the top floor 8th) and there should be a hidden doorway on that floor into a room (think its on the far left of the map), with a flight of stairs that takes you upto the 8th floor were the doorway to the boss is straight ahead!
