Misc Sending message in Animal crossing.

Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before.

Has anyone been able to send messages to friends.
I'm running animal crossing from HD with CFG loader.
Wiiconnect enabled etc.

When I try to send a message to anyone of my friends I get the message that an internet connection could not be established.

Is there a fix or do I have to do something special?

Here's a finding I did trying to solve this issue..
I have no idea if it will help anybody but, here it goes.

I tried using all CIOS bases. I found that the newer base 57 and 56 , 37/38 did'nt work.
I could'nt get a friendcode and I could'nt send a message from the post office to my friends who are in my Wii's adress book.

The game told me that there is no internet conneciton.

So I thought: Let's try base 38. (Moddmii slot 250).

I allowed me to get a friend code.
But still unable to send a message to a friend..

Anybody know of a workaround?
