Hardware selling 360 questions

I'm selling my old 360. Do I just delete my profile and the console is safe to sell? example; can't access my credit card information and stored/bought arcade games.


Also what do you think an original xbox 360 flashed drive would go for with out a hard drive including wires adapter and a controller that has a sticky a button and no battery cover? is $75.00 high balling?

Format the entire harddisk.
That way you're sure of nobody accessing your content.

75 quid is a nice price.
If it's a Falcon console.
Jaspers go for... eh 80 or something.

I wouldn't personally pay 40 for a Xenon console tho.

I got 80 bux for everything and I cleaned up the sticky controller. After taking the hard drive out I didn't see an option to delete internal hard drive. And I didn't want to factory reset it invade something would happen to the flashed drive. My profile was deleted hopefully all works out and my account isn't hacked

That's cause you took the HDD out.
You'll have to put it back and format it.
Factory reset isn't possible on a 360.

Just format the HDD and you'll be fine.
It won't delete your flashed DVD firmware.
Bit weird if every 360 delete its drive FW when you format a harddrive....

I sold the 360 with out the hard drive. Would there be any information of my purchases and credit card on the system? I didn't have a profile on the system everything I had was stored on my hard drive.

Why would you sell a 360 without a harddisk ._.
If you just format it, they can't access your data at all.
There are no recovery programs for FATX.

Just format the harddisk and you're done.

I bought a larger hard drive for the 360, and gave my old hard drive to my room mate. I must have not been thinking clearly that day.

I thought the 360 is like a wii if do a system restore the flash drive would go phooie on me.

Nope, 360 saves everything to the harddisk/USB drive.

If you got a jasper 360 with an HDD you can easily get $125 out of it. I have sold so many for that or more with no games.
