http://gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=184255I strongly believe SDXC is not functional 32 or 64GB on the 3DS, only 32GB SDHC format.
Its also said only up to 32GB is supported on many things like Nintendo FAQs and User Guides.
Though I never tried myself, and I guess it always is possible an update could support it.
However I say you have no business in thinking about a 64GB card for 3DS unless like a flashcart might support it or something.
Most digital 3DS games take up little space. Not enough to justify an 8 or 16GB card, let alone 32 or 64GB
.... 8 blocks in a Megabyte. 8000 blocks to a gigabyte.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is 17,665 blocks.
8000 x 2 is 16000. Which is 2GB. So DKCR is about 2.2 GB. So no. It's not a direct correlation to the cartridge size.

Currently sitting on a 32GB SD card. Have DKCR, RF4, LM2, FEA, MH3U, ACNL, and a myriad of Ambassador games installed, and I'm still at 165k+ blocks free. So yeah.
