GCN SDmemory card vs SD2SP2- which is better

I am still waiting for my SD2SP2, but I have a memory card SD adapter (what I bought on Amazon is pictured here - looks like a WiiSD but I can'ttell). Is the SD2SP2 any better as far as compatibility and speed? Yes, I know a GCloader is better but I don't have the option to get one.

Also, how does a memory card need to be set up for the memory card SD adapter to play ISO games? I formatted my 64gb SD card to FAT32 and put my ISO's on the root of my SD and Swiss doesn't see them. I load the latest Swiss DOL with my Max Drive Pro.

basically they're the same speed. the only actual advantage between the two is that you can use the microphone for Odama in slot 2 if using sd2sp2

SD2SP2 is much faster. I wasn't sure before using them but I have both and the loading time is a lot slower via the memory card.
