Hacking SDHC Cards

I'm looking at getting a 4GB SDHC card.
I know about Class 4 and 6, and how 6 is faster, but is there any variation within the memory manufacturers? I seem to remember that the A-Data Class 6 cards are supposed to be the fastest cards.
Responses from AKRPG owners regarding the performance playing problematic games (DoS intro, PoR, Rockman EXE 5, Downhill Jam)would be nice.

just make sure you get a microsdhc and not a regular sdhc card, im getting an acekard as well and i got myself a set of adata 4gb class6 cards so well see how they preform, but it doesnt really matter much since the acekard has its own nand memory so if there are any slowdowns or problems for some games, just put them on nand memory and problem solved
