I might need to do this too. The only thing is, I don't want to delete everything and do it all over again :/

There needs to be a tool to resize the WBFS partition.

And before anyone says omg code it yourself! the coders don't get paid, blah blah blah, they do it in their free time

All I'm saying is that it would be convenient.

I could live without all the great homebrew. In fact I could live without a Wii or any video games period, it's just great and nice to have... like a perk

no matter if I have a USB device connected it says It couldn't find any WBFS partition and needs to be formated. If I choose to format it gives me error -6
this happens even if I have a usb device connected, that is working in USB Loader Ultimate.

Any idea why?

edit: It was after I ahde chosen USB STorage Device, I guess it never checks if anything is connected.
Anyway, with device connected before I choose I still get no partitions found.

Slightly better translation of changelog:

- Corrected bug when installing games in partitions above 512GB.
- Corrected bug when mounting devices.
- Corrected bug that did not allow to load Excites Truck (the game cannot be loaded from SD because it needs the SD to access music).
- Improved installation speed.
- Update partitions/channels/VC are not ignored in future installations (in previous versions the partitions were copied but they were deleted from the partition table and therefore they stopped existing).
- Various adjustments and optimizations.

Does that mean the update files on the dvd would also be copied to the usb device? What's the use of it?

If you dumped every single Wii game in existence onto your hard drive, I don't think you would reach 500GB.

I have got about 300 games (obviously they are not all quality games) on my drive and they have taken up about 450 gigs.

The use is to increase stability on installation process...Now copy all data 1:1 except garbage. However, if you have an scrubber ISO without update partition, there's no problem to install and boot the game

Just wanna say 1.5 installs fast as a lightning... almost

Thx Waninkoko.
IOS249 games still don't work. But I guess they never will be...

//EDIT:
Well..... seems like this at first.... now my install is frozen at 18%...... LOL
Never had a frozen dump with an older version....

Is there a list of which games require IOS249. I should be able to play them via my modchip but just so I don't install them to HDD when they won't work that way yet.

don't know if there's a list... but I think i saw a wiki long time ago....
Mostly old titles like red Steele or Armageddon need to be patched to IOS249, if they should be run from a BUL.

Maybe the USB Loader can nowadays play those games, if the IOS isn't patched. I've never tested, nor I find any Info on this.

I have a unpatched red steel, but my MicroSD only has 2GB, so I don't know if it fits...

Again: 1.5 has a better compatibility with USB devices?

Woops... triple posts... GBATemp is getting slower again... Maybe because USB loader 1.5?

BTW, how do you merge posts?

Why do i have to say it 100 times? The games that need the patching for disc based backup launching don't work in the usb loaders. Until this is changed if you patch a game to use another IOS or not doesn't change the compatibility at all.

Here's a incomplete and maybe partly incorrect list of games that require the patching for disc based backup launching:

Army Men: Soldiers of Misfortune (maybe doesn't need the patching, 1 confirmation)
Boogie (not Boogie Superstar which doesn't need this)
Call of Duty 3
Far Cry Vengeance
FIFA 08
House of the Dead 2
Madden '07
Madden '08
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Metal Slug Anthology
Metroid Prime 1 (3 doesn't need this!)
Mortal Kombat Armageddon
NBA Live '08
Obscure: The Aftermath (1 confirmation)
Pangya Golf With Style
Red Steel
Sam & Max Season 1
Splinter Cell Double Agent
SSX Blur
Super Swing Golf

Hm... Sorry... Didn't know about that...
I'm gonna try it anyway
