I have a sd card reader for usb that has stopped working all of a sudden. It's not showing up in my computer. I know it works because windows makes the noise to confirm that a usb device has been plugged in. It also shows up in devices & printers. It's just not showing my content in my computer as a drive letter. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? How do I fix this?

My sd card reader showing up in devices & printers.

Sd card doesn't show up in my computer.

If it helps, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate RTM and the sd card is Sandisk 2gb.

have u tried the reader on another computer?
have u tried another micro sd card?
Yes, it works on my bro's comp and yes I've tried it with other sd cards, it seems that my comp doesn't want to read this sd card reader no matter what sd card it is trying to read. This is very frustrating.

Either way I just bought a new usb reader for my sd cards. This topic can be closed now.

lol sry if i appear to be condescending. if the opening post doesn't explain all possible scenarios, i like to explore them. with people on the internet, you can never be too sure
