Hacking Sd Card Layout

this may be in the wrong forum, but the question i have is is there a certain files that have to stay on the sd card and files that can be deleted to save space on the sd card, ideally the nand.bin file can it be backed up then removed from the sd card or does it have to stay there?

You can remove any extra files and folders from the root of the SD card that are not in the following list:

+ 3ds
+ files9
+ hblauncherloader
+ luma
+ Nintendo 3DS
+ arm9loaderhax.bin
+ boot.3dsx
