    Hi all,

I just got a DSi LL -- and have been playing around with it --

Regarding the SD slot on the side: It is obviously used for the camera (and probably DSiWare) -- but is it used for anything else?

As my DSi is in Japanese -- I can't read everything in the menu/manual!

But can the DSi play music? -- Or what else can go on the SD card?

    Regards!

I believe in order to play music on the DSi, the format is AAC, .m4a. I'm not aware if anything else can go on it, but I'm guessing that nothing else can go on it.

    Hi!

    Thanks for the answer --

I was just snooping around on the Nintendo site -- the voice recordings must also go on it --

I wish Nintendo had of put video and MP3 support -- like the PSP -- I think they are crazy that they don't do this....

I think they don't include MP3 is that IIRC to be able to use Mp3 codec a fee has to be paid for a licence, & possibly ninty don't want to do that

One other thing. You can't do is put photos from your computer onto the SD card to view on the DS (well you can't on the DSi) - it will only store picture taken from the camera
