Anyone else feel like they've been waiting far too long for this game already? Well its been pushed back to next year but here are some new screens:





For those who don't know, this is the sequel to the N64 classic that never came out in the West. It came to the Wii's Virtual Console service a while ago and became one of the best selling VC N64 titles. It is developed by Treasure...don't know who Treasure are? They use to be part of Konami when Konami where doing great games in the late 80's and early 90's but left to form Treasure. Here is a list of their best games:

Description of the first game:

On-rails 3D sci-fi shooter from Treasure, set in the Japan of the future. You join the struggle of a rebel group fighting to save humanity from the Rufians, who are animals that have been genetically mutated. At the same time, the planet's armed forces are also fighting against the Rufians, but their cause has been corrupted. So the rebels are forced to clash with both a military beast and the genetically mutated beasts known as the Rufians. It is best summed up as a tale that deals with political corruption, genetic mutations, with some fantastical surprises thrown in. Two players can team up and run, jump, and shoot their way to detailed 3D levels, fending off hundreds of creatures and taking on gigantic bosses.

The game was outstanding and the best 3D title that Treasure have ever done. Fans of old school shooters will want this.

I'm hoping that this years E3 will tell us more of the game.

I wasn't aware it came to VC. Maybe I'll pick it up. Anyways, I'm can't wait for this game. One of the most anticipated games for me!

Looks great.. been playing the original one on the VC and it's amazing, it's like a schmup on rails with some platform elements!

The Wii IR pointer is perfect for this, can't wait
