I was playing Rune Factory 3, and the game crashed. It had been maybe 10 minutes since I saved the game, and it just locked up.
When I opened the game again, the save files weren't there and it defaulted to New Game.
The .sav file is still in the directory, and I've tried various solutions posted online (changing to .nds etc.)
I have pretty much resigned to the fact I'll have to start over now (I was only about 2-3 hours in anyway), but I wanted to know if this is a common problem? I want to make sure it doesn't happen again.
So is there anything else I can try to fix my save file? Alternatively, is there anything I can do to try and ensure this doesn;t happen again?
