is it possible to convert a pokemon black save into a pokemon white save?
like change the Game ID or something.
i need to do this for a friend...
if it's not possible i guess i can transport all of the .pkm files

Why would it be trolling? It's a legit question. Many older flash carts used different save types that would need conversion and such to go between carts.

The only attempt to convert a save to the opposite version was changing the filename to whatever you had the opposite version ROM's file name as. For some reason, the version-specific area is handled by the save, so doing just a basic filename change screwed up the game into showing the area for the opposite version (although, from what I understand, the games don't have all of the resources used by the opposite version's version-specific area, so the area was screwed up and didn't display or do something correctly).

Without information on the save format that's pretty much the only attempts people can make. And yeah the size/look of the area and number of NPCs in it can vary, thus the save holding some of the info.

i knew it! white forest exists in black's files! it must be from the entralink, i'll make an attempt at this for myself.
i solved it for my friend by using pokesav to export the .pkm files of the boxes all at once then importing into pokegen.
