Hacking Save Cheats with CTR plugin so they load every time you start the game?

Got the Cheat Icarus Uprising plugin to work with CTR. Quite nifty only having to press select to access the cheats. But every time I close the game the cheats don't save and get disabled, and I have to re-enable them when I open the game again.
The saving feature in the plugin doesn't work for this game and idk why. Can anyone offer some help?
