Gaming .sav idea

Okay, so I was thinking about this, and maybe it's already been brought up, but if by chance, some serious gamers felt like being awesome, they could do something absolutely awesome. This awesome deed would be to play their games (seriously) and get rare items and such, and then post their .sav files online. A great example would be Pokemon. If someone were to get a really rare pokemon, maybe one of those that you can only win in tournaments or something, and then post their .sav file online, I realize that it would kind of mess up the game, but I think it would still be pretty awesome just to get one of those ridiculously rare Pokemon, or rare item. It could be a revolution. Your thoughts? And remember, I said it would kind of mess up the game, but I still think it'd be sweet.
